I have had several sleeveless pattern angle out there and can't imagine why the designer made them that way. I'm looking forward to seeing your silk versions - silk is so lovely.sewistafashionistahttp://sewstorebought.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2132533809320962451.post-79237441694557165532010-10-01T04:47:43.955-04:002010-10-01T04:47:43.955-04:00Why dread?? I hate doing them too but it's a necessity for me with my gigant-o girls. I'm not sure about the bias, though. Once you put a dart in there, it'll definitely mess with the grain. I think you can rotate the dart but I'm not an expert on that. You might want to check out Debbie Cook's tutorials. I think she has one for that.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05438319095780906710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2132533809320962451.post-26747226238047751512010-09-30T11:53:21.609-04:002010-09-30T11:53:21.609-04:00Thanks! The muslin is much stiffer than the silk I will ultimately use, so it stands away from my body. There are extra inches at the side seams.Cliohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05552253628640209694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2132533809320962451.post-91308678813202276582010-09-30T11:50:40.352-04:002010-09-30T11:50:40.352-04:00I agree that it looks good in the picture.
