I do have a few old ones, though, both bags. I guess I don't like making bags. One is a specialized computer bag for my mini netbook and I realized too late that I'd made the pockets too close to the size needed and would have to hand sew them in place rather than use the machine. The other one also involves hand sewing. Emotional issues associated with it, I guess, so I don't want to finish it (because it isn't looking so hot) but I also don't want to get rid of it yet? I do actually want to make that costume piece, but I might need to get different materials and re-do a lot of it. That is my permanent UFO.

Now, because I am doing all of these skating costumes, I also have my button down shirt where I have adjusted the pattern, but haven't made muslin #2 yet. There isn't actually anything cut out, but since I have started this project and haven't officially finished it, I suppose it could technically be classified as a UFO, though I would go with "work in progress." Same story for my Patrones pants - pattern is traced, but haven't done anything else with it as of yet. It isn't so much that I have abandoned them, as that they are on hold while I do the skating stuff, and then get back to them at a later time.

Oh, and I made a skating practice dress which should have been a wadder but I love the fabric too much, so I need to re-do it/save it somehow, but that is going to take too much time I don't have at the moment so that is sort of in UFO territory as well at the moment. I think my goal is to have all of the UFOs/WIPs (except the costume) finished by the end of July. If it goes longer than that I think they fall into official UFO territory...

Hmmmm.... normally I don't have any UFOs, but maybe this is why I have not been as excited to sew lately - I don't like having a backlog of projects.T. I ran across the boxer pattern my daughter was using for that sewalong the other day while tidying, and was thinking that I might bang out a couple more for her. I'm liking simple, quick projects these days...Tanit-Isishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15824217102632813598noreply@blogger.com
